Important service information
  • 911 & emergency calling: VoIP and SIP trunk 911 service works differently than traditional landline 911. Service depends on power, network equipment, and your internet connection. During a power outage, internet outage, or equipment failure, you may not be able to place 911 calls. You are responsible for providing and keeping an accurate service address on file so emergency services can be routed correctly.
  • Power & internet dependency: SIP trunk service requires a working broadband connection and powered equipment (such as routers, switches, PBX, and ATAs/gateways). We recommend battery backup or generator solutions for critical sites.
  • Taxes, surcharges & regulatory fees: Advertised rates do not include applicable taxes, telecom surcharges, government assessments, or regulatory fees (including but not limited to E911 and USF), which are added separately on your invoice.
  • Fair-use policy: “Unlimited” and “unlimited incoming” calling is intended for typical business voice usage. High-volume auto-dialers, call centers, resale of service, continuous or excessive traffic, and other non-standard uses may be restricted or billed differently under our fair-use policy.
  • Service availability: Service, pricing, and features are subject to qualification, network availability, and service agreement terms. Final pricing and configuration will be confirmed in your 1st Stop Communication service order.
